Reminds me of Sam Kinison
He did some similar behind-the-scenes stuff about the Pentecostal circuit, explaining the nuts and bolts of the schtick, and sometimes went into his old patter in the middle of a set. (At least once he ended up pacing and panting and sweating, quit mid-sentence, wiped his brow and said, "You see how much work that shit is?")
Anyway, Marjoe's straightforward commentary on his "art" reminds me very much of Sam.

Challenges and Provokes
Marjoe, billed as an exposé docu-drama, not only fulfills that description perfectly, but is also a parody of tent revivalism. Not for the naive faithful, the film challenges assumptions and the doctrines of faith healing and redemption.
